PBT自潤滑、低摩 擦系數(shù),但體積電阻、介電損耗大。缺點(diǎn)是缺口沖擊強(qiáng)度低 ,成型收縮率大。故大部分采用玻璃纖維增強(qiáng)或無機(jī)填充改性,其拉伸強(qiáng)度、彎曲強(qiáng)度可提高一倍以上,熱變形溫度也大幅提高??梢栽?40℃下長期工作,玻纖增強(qiáng)后制品縱、橫向收縮率不一致,易使制品發(fā)生翹曲。
PBT為熱塑性塑料,為適用于不同加工業(yè)者使用,一般多少會(huì)加入添加劑,或與其它塑料摻混,隨著添加物比例不同,可制造不同規(guī)格的產(chǎn)品。由于PBT具有耐熱性、耐候性、耐藥品性、電氣特性佳、吸水性小、光澤良好,廣泛應(yīng)用于電子電器、汽車零件、機(jī)械、家用品等,而PBT產(chǎn)品又與PPS、PC、POM、PA等共稱為五大泛用工程塑料。
PBT是堅(jiān)韌的工程熱塑材料之一,它是半結(jié)晶材料,有非常好的化學(xué)穩(wěn)定性、機(jī)械強(qiáng)度、電絕緣特性和熱穩(wěn)定性。這些材料在很廣的環(huán)境條件下都有很好的穩(wěn)定性。PBT吸濕特性很弱。非增強(qiáng)型PBT的張力強(qiáng)度為50MPa,玻璃添加劑型的PBT張力強(qiáng)度為170MPa。玻璃添加劑過多將導(dǎo)致材料變脆。PBT的;結(jié)晶很迅速,這將導(dǎo)致因冷卻不均勻而造成彎曲變形。對于有玻璃添加劑類型的材料,流程方向的收縮率可以減小,但與流程垂直方向的收縮率基本上和普通材料沒有區(qū)別。一般材料收縮率在1.5%~2.8%之間。含30%玻璃添加劑的材料收縮0.3%~1.6%之間。熔點(diǎn)(225℃)和高溫變形溫度都比PET材料要低。維卡軟化溫度大約為170℃。玻璃化轉(zhuǎn)換溫度(glass trasitio temperature)在22℃到43℃之間。由于PBT的結(jié)晶速度很高,因此它的粘性很低,塑件加工的周期時(shí)間一般也較低。
PBT應(yīng)用范圍
家用器具(食品加工刀片、真空吸塵器元件、電風(fēng)扇、頭發(fā)干燥機(jī)殼體、咖啡器皿等),電器元件(開關(guān)、電機(jī)殼、保險(xiǎn)絲盒、計(jì)算機(jī)鍵盤按鍵等),汽車工業(yè)(散熱器格窗、車身嵌板、車輪蓋、門窗部件等)。
改性PBT塑料是指在聚合物(樹脂)中加入小分子無機(jī)物或有機(jī)物,通過物理或化學(xué)作用,從而賦予其某種性能(機(jī)械加工性能)或使其某種性能獲得改善。如增韌、增強(qiáng)、增塑、阻燃等,而通過改性技術(shù)使得塑料變得具有鮮特征,而這其中要屬在汽車和家電領(lǐng)域,改性PBT塑料的應(yīng)用以及發(fā)展?jié)摿榫薮罅恕?
